Paweł Sarna (canoeist)


Paweł Sarna (born June 12, 1984 in Nowy Sącz) is a Polish slalom canoer who has competed since the early 2000s predominantly in the C-2 category.
He won a bronze medal in the C-2 team event at the 2003 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Augsburg. He also won two silvers and two bronzes in the same event at the European Championships.
Competing in two Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of eighth in the C-2 event at Beijing in 2008.
He has changed C-2 partners several times during his career. He's had most success competing alongside Marcin Pochwała, but he has also raced alongside Grzegorz Wójs and Dawid Dobrowolski.
